Welcome To
The purpose of this site is
to share with you some photo's and experiences.
Our names are Jim and Debs
and we have been interested in the paranormal for many years.
The photos we have taken
all contain orbs or strange mist like patches that were not visible to the naked
eye. We hope you like them.
A new book on this subject was published 25 February 2005 called Spirit Orb

I am definitely a believer, always
have been, I come from a family who are believers. My mum has had many
experiences in her 88yr life, sadly my dad passed 10yrs ago. I used to attend
Portobello Spiritualist Church,I have basically grown up with Spiritualism.
My first real experience if
you can call it that, was the night after my dad passed, I saw him standing next
to my bed holding his hand out to me, I was later told that he had came to say
goodbye to me as I hadn't seen him at time of passing. Over the years I used to
sense very small things, like the presence of someone but that was about it,
this was to change.
In May of this year I decided to go back online
after a few months of absence and visit
Spiritual sites. Whilst online that
night I met someone who gave mediumistic readings. I watched him quite often
and eventually we got chatting, I was given an address of a site he went to so
I followed him there, Spirittalks was
the site, I carried on chatting to him and others. I was asked if
I was psychic and my reply was "as psychic as a brick wall" but he had faith in
me and concocted a little game which, he said, proved that I was psychic
(everyone is born this way and it is only when we grow older that sometimes its
blocked or put away). Over the weeks that followed I went to Spirittalks every
night, it was part of my life, a yearning I had. Through his one-to-one
teachings and the great feeling and atmosphere of the site I started linking with people through their aura, seeing what
information I could get etc. and eventually began to give psychic readings. I
progressed to using things to assist me, like matches (yes, matches) and tarot
cards. He taught me to read the cards themselves, not buy a book and give a
reading from what the author says the cards should mean, but to give readings
from what I ‘sensed’ from the cards by looking at the pictures and giving what I
got from that and what I was feeling about the person I was reading for (the
sitter). Later it was from what spirit were telling me also. During these weeks
I received white feathers from spirit, which at the time I had no idea where
they had came from or indeed why they had appeared as I have nothing with
feathers in the house. I also saw a beautiful white swan one night just outside
my window, flying past, but when I asked neighbours the next day if they had saw
it, no one had apart from me (a totem I believe this was). I also started
sensing spirit around me and by giving the information I had to the people on
the site, a few readings were also given. I learned how to meditate, and also
attended open circles, which helped me visualise and link with spirit.
This
person who helped me, taught me and gave me encouragement, support and such
great friendship, was there for me through all this and more is called daddypea
and one of the other sites I attend is
"Mediumystics"where he is a member of staff and a teacher. He is a
spiritual healer, does mediumistic and psychic readings. He is a lovely warm and
caring person and is willing to help anyone on his or her spiritual pathway.
Like all of us he is still learning, as we all learn everyday. (for more

During all this my faith was found or
reborn, not sure quite how to describe it. I realised who God and Jesus
were and how I felt about them, such a wonderful feeling, and how indeed they
felt about me. No more was I just another person, I was one of Gods
children, like we all are. I realised why Jesus had died on the cross and
indeed his teachings and word, a feeling which truly fills me, such love that I
never thought possible to feel. I also realised through this that no
matter how bad another person can treat me, I can forgive them as Jesus forgave
others.

I am definitely a believer in the
paranormal but I need proof. Call me the sceptical believer. I will
listen to every tale anyone has to tell regarding the supernatural but that does
not mean that I will believe every tale I'm told. I want to see proof.
Proof does not have to mean photos or video evidence, can the account be backed
up by reliable witnesses? Basically, I would prefer to investigate myself
to see if those same experiences happen to me. I have no kind of psychic
powers or mediumship abilities. I often tell folk, "I am as psychic as a brick"
but even I have experienced one or two strange occurrences.
Some years ago
on a visit to Glamis Castle in Angus, Scotland I was sitting in the small
Chapel when I thought I saw someone descend the stairs that were visible through
the door at the south end of the Chapel. When the tour left the Chapel
through that door I noticed that the stairs were cordoned off.
Another
time when some friends and I visited Doune Castle in Stirlingshire, we decided
to explore a part of the castle that was closed to the public at that time.
I had the very scary sensation of being chased along a narrow corridor and down
the spiral staircase.
Both of theses experiences could of course be
explained naturally. The first could have been a member of staff descending the
stairs and the Doune experience could simply have been my own fear taking over
as I was in an off limits part of the Castle, but it makes you wonder.
I do believe that there are spirits all
around us and although I need proof, I am open minded enough not to require
scientific proof to believe. Science cannot explain everything.
